AirTreks was looking to upgrade their current website to a system that was flexible and maintainable. They needed a Content Management System (CMS) where multiple users could manage and update content within the site. They were also in need of several custom features including:

Custom Theme (designed in-house)
Travel Store – providing the ability to manage and update products and services AirTreks endorses and encourages their clients to use as well as feature these products throughout the site
Advertising Management – providing the ability to insert custom advertisements throughout the website
SQL connectivity and integration
Easy navigation with custom related content schema
High Availability
Internal hosting on IIS servers
Legacy Redirection – several legacy systems that used to be part of the main website needed to continue to be available

It was decided that the WordPress platform could handle the job, providing them everything they needed with room to grow.
